Frenchy Burrito has been a volunteer for The Rainbow Kitchen for over 18 years helping raise money with events and awareness. He has also helped raise awareness of the Salvation Army's work helping the homeless with one of his songs Homeless Hearts which was used by the Army as a PSA.

Frenchy Burrito and The Folk Pistols circa 1994. This was the original band photographed in front of the Rainbow Kitchen mural. If you want to see what the old Rainbow Kitchen looked like back in the '90s check out the movie Roommates starring Peter Folk and Julianne Moore. There's some great scenes with Ms Moore in the RK. She plays a social worker. Sadly the original kitchen was torn down a few years ago but the new Rainbow Kitchen continues on.They do great work and donations are always needed and you can contribute online
